We recently visited this restaurant and were thoroughly impressed by both the service and the food. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. We ordered two shaved ice desserts: the spicy shaved ice and the ube shaved ice. Both were absolutely delicious! The spicy shaved ice had a unique blend of heat and sweetness, creating an unexpected yet delightful flavor combination. The ube shaved ice was creamy and rich, with the perfect balance of sweetness, making it a must-try for anyone who enjoys ube. We will definitely be returning to explore more of their menu.

SF doesn't have too many late night non-bar spots, but U :Dessert is one of them. There's pretty ample seating inside and outside, and you can also make reservations in advance. I'd say the actual desserts are a 3/5 for the price point; most snow ices and toasts are $20+ which is hefty for the portion size. I enjoy the ambiance here, but I do feel like the servers kind of rush you out because of how busy they can get; we always get handed the check in the middle of eating. I'd check out Naya, A Buttercup Dessert house, or Sweet Mango if you want some similar style desserts for cheaper.

100% Recommend! This place is amazing. We loved it. I've had U:Dessert Story bookmarked for years and have never made it out there until this weekend. We just finished lunch and my family and I wanted to have dessert so we quickly made reservations for U:Dessert Story. We were seated immediately upon check-in and given menus. There are so many options and we asked for recommendations since it was our first time. We opted for the following: Boba Thai tea Bingsu: Korean snow ice with grass jelly, boba and condensed mik Hojica banoffee Both were absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely return and next time with friends.

Everything about this place was absolutely adorable! The plants and neon signs gave it a cute aesthetic from dining area to the bathroom. The play on words for different meal combinations added a humourous yet adorable touch. The menu is vast and offers great vegan options, like the Mango Sticky Rice Bingsu. I loved the Sticky Rice tin on the side that allowed me to have a small amount with every bite. The Blue Lychee Boba was good, but nothing extraordinary. It took a bit for our food to come out, but our server was great about checking in on us and offering our check towards the end of us eating.
